Our Programs

You can make a lasting impact in the lives of East African youth through prayer and financial support! See how we restore order through our ministry programs.

High School Missions

Almost every weekend while schools are in session, ROMI can be found in several schools preaching the gospel, facilitating workshops and providing one-on -one counseling and prayer for students. As we have walked with them over the years, we have seen many go from fearful and insecure to standing boldly for the gospel and preaching to those who are younger than them. We believe in reaching and shaping them at this critical time when many face overwhelming challenges and pressures.

Child Sponsorship

Our sponsorship program is a relational way to reach out to the orphans and vulnerable children in society. Children in the program have their education completely provided for, receive follow up visits, attend bible camps and enjoy a Christmas gift / party at the end of the year. The child’s guardian also attends teaching sessions where we encourage and empower them to better care for the children.

Feeding Programs

At our mission base in DonyoSabuk, we have the opportunity every day to feed and minister to approximately 350 children, six days per week. Many of these come from a local slum and depend on this as their one meal per day. Donyo has a very high rate of broken families and drug/alcohol abuse, leaving many children abandoned and neglected. This program has helped us not only provide a daily meal for them but also to identify those who need more attention such as sponsorship of school fees, clothes and even a safe place to stay. We live by faith and usually don’t know from month to month how the Lord will provide for these children.

School Pioneering

By God’s grace and the partnership of His Glory Ministries and Christian Aid Ministries, ROMI has been able to open and oversee three schools in Northern Kenya in villages where young people had no access to education. In addition to education, each child is provided with a cup of porridge in the morning as well as a meal during lunchtime. We have seen them go from malnourished (red eyes, flaking skin, swollen stomachs and very lethargic) to healthy and joyful. There are still many more villages in Northern Kenya and South Sudan which are in desperate need and we trust the Lord to provide for them as well as the additional teachers and teacher’s living quarters needed at the schools which are already there.

Church Empowerment and Evangelism

When the Lord directs, ROMI is involved in training leaders and Pastors in various churches across the nation especially focused on less reached areas such as Turkana, Marsabit and Hola. ROMI has had the opportunity to do the same in Malawi, the Congo and Tanzania.
