Biography

Rabecca is a friendly and cheerful young lady. She is currently in 12th grade at a local high school where she is an average student. Rabecca is the fourth born of six children. Because of their lack of education and a lack of job opportunities in the community, Rabecca’s parents have struggled to keep food on the table much less provide for their children’s education. Currently they are both casual laborers who leave the house every morning trusting God to find work to do that day. It has been challenging for Rabecca to be sent home from school many times due to lack of funds but she is determined to finish and believes she can become a light, not only in her family but in the larger community and the nation of Malawi.
