Biography

Veronicah is a bright and loving young girl in grade 7 in a local Primary School. She lives with her parents and four siblings. Unfortunately, her parents suffer from mental health issues and often lead a life on the streets. The family relies on food support from a mission headquarters, where they receive lunch. They don’t have a stable home, but a kind pastor has provided them with a room to stay in occasionally. In school, Veronicah does her best despite facing challenges, such as being late sometimes and having to deal with fees. However, she remains dedicated and never misses church on Sundays. With the right support, Veronicah can truly fulfill her potential. Let us keep her in our prayers, asking for guidance and direction for her future.

About Veronicah's Home: Machakos

Machakos County is a part of Southeastern Kenya is generally known as Ukambani. The climate is usually hot and dry making farming a challenge and food supplies short. The main diet in these areas is corn products, beans, some fruits and green vegetables such as kale when the weather permits. The main language spoken is Kikamba and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
