Biography
William is a hardworking and determined young man. He currently lives with his old grandmother who is a farmer. William’s life took a sad turn eight years ago when he lost both of his parents due to long term sickness. He was Left in the care of his old grandmother who loves him but is not capable of providing. Life has become a struggle for survival and a battle against loneliness. Despite everything around him, William is joyful and believes that someday there will be light in the family.
William is currently in grade 12 in a local secondary school where he is working hard and getting average grades. Teachers and friends from the community have helped him this far but he does not know how he will further his education once he is done with high school. William believes with a friend to walk beside him, he can overcome the challenges facing him and become an agent of change in his family and society. Would you walk with him?
