Biography

Brian is a friendly and hardworking young man. He and his twin brother are the first born in their family and were only young when their father told the family he is leaving for several days but will be back. Later, he was found having hung himself. This left Brian’s Mom with five children in her care, only a small room and no way to earn an income as she takes care of her small children. She struggled greatly for some time but by God’s grace, three of her younger children were enrolled in sponsorship, two in our program. When Brian was to go to high school, there were no available funds and he thought his education would cease there but one of his sister’s sponsors took the initiative to help him pay for the needed supplies and three months of tuition fees. We are trusting God to provide a friend for Brian who will be able to finish the journey with him. Would you pray about helping him become all God created him to be?

About Brian's Home: Makueni

Makueni County is a part of Southeastern Kenya generally known as Ukambani. The climate is usually hot and dry making farming a challenge and food supplies short. The main diet in these areas is corn products, beans, some fruits and green vegetables such as kale when the weather permits. The main language spoken is Kikamba and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
