Biography

Jackson is a very sweet and thoughtful looking young boy. He is currently in preschool at a local primary school where he is a very good student. Sadly, Jackson's dad is in and out of his life and his mother is not very responsible. Without a stable place at home, Jackson and his siblings have gone to live with their grandmother who has a more stable presence but who is financially unable to provide for them due to her old age and frequent illnesses. The family is really struggling and depends on well wishers in order to survive. Jackson has the potential to overcome the challenges he faces and become a man of God in his generation. Would you be the one to walk with him?

About Jackson's Home: Makueni

Makueni County is a part of Southeastern Kenya generally known as Ukambani. The climate is usually hot and dry making farming a challenge and food supplies short. The main diet in these areas is corn products, beans, some fruits and green vegetables such as kale when the weather permits. The main language spoken is Kikamba and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
