Biography
Morgan is a friendly, hardworking and very disciplined young man. He is currently in grade 8 at Kinyambu Primary School where he is a slightly above average student. Sadly Morgan’s Dad passed away from a road accident when he was quite young and his mother, overwhelmed by the pressure of raising her children on her own, left. There are times when she comes back briefly but then she leaves again. Morgan has been raised by well wishers - staying for some time with a teacher, neighbor or member of the Catholic church. He needs much more stability in his life to ensure he has the best chance to overcome the challenges he faces and develop to his full, God given potential. Would you be the one to stand with him?
About Morgan's Home: Makueni
Makueni County is a part of Southeastern Kenya generally known as Ukambani. The climate is usually hot and dry making farming a challenge and food supplies short. The main diet in these areas is corn products, beans, some fruits and green vegetables such as kale when the weather permits. The main language spoken is Kikamba and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
