Mourice is a bright, welcoming and focused young boy. Mourice stays with his grandmother who is a casual worker. His grandmother is very needy since she is unemployed with an unreliable source of income. Mourice’s parents passed on, he remained with the grandmother and since the demise of his parents the life been hard for him. Mourice has one sibling who also depends his grandmother. Life has been hard for them because his grandmother is struggling to pay for their school fees and to feed them. Mourice is currently in grade 2 at a local Primary School.
