Biography
Purity is a friendly and kind young girl. She is currently in grade 5 in a local school in a very remote village in Kitui County. Sadly, Purity lost both of her parents at a young age and she and her three older siblings were placed in the care of their aunt. The aunt had eight children of her own and three others whom she was looking after and due to her lack of education, was not able to get work. At times, she would hide food from Purity and her siblings so that she would be able to feed her own children. It was so painful that Purity's older brother ran away and her sister got pregnant at a very young age, later taking Purity and her child to another relative's place. By God's grace, the sister just older than Purity got a sponsor and is now in 11th grade with hopes of completing her education. This has given Purity hope that she too can overcome the challenges she faces and become a woman of God who gives back to society. Would you be the one to hold her hand and help her overcome?
