Overview
Biography
Patience is a bright girl who joined grade 10 at a local Girls' High School. At home, she lives with her mother and a sibling. Her mother, being a single parent, finds it difficult to take care of them, especially keeping them in school. What she does for a living is farming, which depends on seasonal rainfall, which is never promising. Patience is working hard despite all the challenges she is going through and believes that one day, with God's help, she will finish school and help her family as well as her community. Let's pray for her that this will actualize!
About Petience's Home: Kitui
Kitui County is a part of Southeastern Kenya generally known as Ukambani. The climate is usually hot and dry making farming a challenge and food supplies short. The main language spoken is Kikamba and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
