Biography

Daniel is a hardworking and serious young man. Unfortunately, he comes from a broken home and much poverty. Daniel worked very hard in elementary school to get a good grade but when it was time to go to high school, there was no money. Depressed and without hope, the boy ran away from home. Thankfully the Lord raised up a very distant relative who found him and took him in. This man was also a Principal at a small school nearby where he enrolled Daniel. Since then, the boy has been working hard and is quite above average in his class (he's currently in grade 10). We have been walking with him for some time as it is difficult for the Principal to take care of so many needy students. Daniel has proven himself and we desire to officially enroll him in sponsorship. We believe with your help and support, he will continue to flourish and become all God has created him to be!

About Daniel's Home: Kitui

Kitui County is a part of Southeastern Kenya generally known as Ukambani. The climate is usually hot and dry making farming a challenge and food supplies short.   The main diet in these areas is corn products, beans, some fruits, and green vegetables such as kale when the weather permits. The main language spoken is Kikamba and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
