Biography
Lincoln Baraka is a hardworking and serious young man who is performing excellently in school. He is currently in grade 10 at a local high school. At home, he lives with his single mother, who is a salonist, and his sister. Lincoln's mother's income is very low and is unable to support his education. He is a very sharp young man and is always at the top of his class as well as leading in the school's extra-curricular activities. We believe with a hand to hold, Lincoln will be able to overcome the challenges he currently faces and become a man of God who will have a positive impact in his generation. Kiambu County is a part of central Kenya. It has a vibrant mix of urban and rural areas , it offers a blend of modernity and tradition. The climate is moderate with distinct wet and dry seasons . It is known for producing a variety of crops including tea, coffee and horticultural products. The main diet in these areas is corn products, beans, some fruits and green vegetables such as kale when the weather permits. The main language spoken is Kikuyu and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
