Biography
Onesmus is a promising and bright young boy in grade 7 at Nduumoni Junior School. He comes from a humble background, having lost both parents to illness, and now lives with his siblings under the care of their grandfather. Although he is average in school, he has the potential to excel with the right support. Unfortunately, his guardian struggles to provide enough resources for school and basic needs by undertaking casual labor jobs which are low paying. Besides this, Musyoki is determined and committed to continue his education, aspiring to finish school and eventually provide for his family. With the right support,he is able to achieve his academic dreams hence help his society and become an important figure in the country. He truly needs someone to support him on this journey. About Onesmus's Home: Makueni
Makueni County is a part of Southeastern Kenya generally known as Ukambani. The climate is usually hot and dry making farming a challenge and food supplies short. The main diet in these areas is corn products, beans, some fruits and green vegetables such as kale when the weather permits. The main language spoken is Kikamba and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
