Biography

Richard is a friendly and hardworking young man who is passionate about serving God in his generation.  Richard is the second lastborn of four children who grew up under the care of their mother since their father left when he was still very young.  Richard’s mother struggled to take care of them but things grew worse three years ago when she had a fall which left her using crutches. At that point, Mburu went to stay with his brother and whenever he was not in school, he would look for work so the two of them could make ends meet. However, just as Richard finished high school in December of 2024, his brother told him he will have to find his own place to stay since he got married while Richard was in school and the only place they can afford is the small room where the two guys used to live. Since then, Richard has been living with us at the mission base as he trusts God for the opportunity to join college in September to study information technology. Richard has been instrumental in helping us with missions and other work around the mission. We believe he will work hard and become an agent of change in his generation.
