Biography

Caroline is a friendly and outgoing young woman. Sadly, her single mom passed away when she was still very young leaving Caro and her siblings in the care of an aunt who provided for their day to day needs but was very harsh with them otherwise. When she was in 10th grade, Caro received a miracle in the form of sponsorship and was able to go to a boarding school where she had a very conducive environment. Caro's sponsor helped her finish 12th grade and to participate in a 6 months mission training program while she waits to join college. However, the sponsor will not be able to continue any longer and we know that in Kenya, without at least some college education, the job market becomes almost impossible to navigate. Would you pray about standing with Caroline for the next several years and helping her finish strong?

About Caroline's Home: Machakos

Machakos County is a part of Southeastern Kenya is generally known as Ukambani. The climate is usually hot and dry making farming a challenge and food supplies short. The main diet in these areas is corn products, beans, some fruits and green vegetables such as kale when the weather permits. The main language spoken is Kikamba and the primary religion is Christianity though there is still much traditional superstition and a recent influx of Islam.
